For all foreign traveler Before travelling to Tibet you must need contact a travel agency have arrangement the Tibet tour permit prior to your departure, for apply the Tibet permit you first need provide a valid passport which is valid at least 6 months and a valid Chinese visa is essential .If without these documents. The tourist bureau will refused to issue the Tibet permit for foreign traveler to Tibet.

Passport and Chinese Visa :

The Chinese visa is generally obtainable from most Chinese Embassies and consulates in your home country. And most Chinese embassies and consulates will issue a standard 30day single entry tourist visa for you in 3-5working days ,the visa fees vary according to how much your country charges Chinese citizens for a visa, When you go to Chinese embassy visa application form asks you a lot of questions, You do not let that you plan to visit Tibet when you fill in this section, when you listing your itinerary, pick the obvious contenders other part of China, and don't listing you occupation as journalist and don't mention bicycles,

If you begin the tour from Nepal to entry Tibet, It is better not to apply for any individual Chinese visa in your country, Because arrived at Kathmandu ,You need to join a group to Tibet with group visa .The Chinese embassy will first cancel your former individual visa then issued a group visa for you .So do not apply Chinese visa until you reach to Kathmandu and avoid waste of money , In order to get Chinese visa in Kathmandu, please send us your clear passport copy and other details like your profession to us at least 15 days in advance. In Tibet according to government regulation ,exception the Hong Kong and Macau traveler。All foreign tourist who when travel to Tibet must obtained the travel permit before entry to Tibet, If you without the travel permit you cannot buy the flight or train ticket to travel to Tibet. Therefore before you plan to travel Tibet you should contact with a local travel agency arrangement a tour for you that include the Tibet tour permits . Only the local agency will can help you application the Tibet tour permit from Tibet tourist bureau, For issued the permit you need send your passport and valid Chinese visa copy by fax or E-mail to us at least 2weeks prior to your departure. And with this you must provide us your detail information as full of name ,Gender Occupation  Nationality ,Passport No and birth of date. When we received your these detail information. Other permit :
